Forex Real Profit EA v5.11 MT4
Forex Real Profit EA v5.11 is a time-based MT4 scalping robot with money management and fixed take profit logic. Full backtest analysis with drawdown and balance evaluation.
Description
Forex Real Profit EA v5.11 is an automated scalping system intended for MetaTrader 4 that leverages time-specific time windows having tight take profit objectives for trade. From the settings, if you consider the time EA can reach at 22:00-22:59 broker time, obviously the EA will run night session, as night time is probably ideal for a low-volatility market environment.
In the simulated backtest with $10,000 initial deposit, EA resulted in an overall loss of -$1,731.86. The final balance was around $8,268. Although the strategy resulted in 324 trades and maintained a roughly symmetric distribution between the buy and sell positions, overall performance was negative.
The profit factor came only in at 0.66 indicating gross losses far outweighed gross profits. The expected payoff was -5.35, that is, on average for each trade in this test configuration there was a net loss in the long run, over the experiment.
Forex Real Profit EA v5.11 Recommended Settings
- Currency Pair: EURUSD
- Timeframe: M15
- Minimum Deposit: $10,000
- Leverage: 1:100 or higher
- Trading Session: 22:00 – 22:59 (broker time)
- Risk Percent: 5% (Money Management enabled)
The EA uses a fixed Take Profit of 10 pips while Stop Loss is disabled in the presented configuration. Money management is enabled with a 5% risk parameter, which significantly increases exposure during losing streaks.
Strategy
Forex Real Profit EA v5.11 is a short-term scalping model. It will begin the trades from a much narrower time horizon, probably for spread compression and small margin and price inefficiencies. Since Take Profit is limited to 10 pips and no fixed Stop Loss is enabled, a great deal of system is dependent on internal logic and trade Management parameters.
The equity curve within the backtest shows a graphically downward pattern. Then, after that initial small fluctuation phase, balance declines gradually with periodic recovery attempts that fail to outweigh accumulated losses. The max drawdown was 20.21%, equal to $2,043.91, and is significant because strategy ultimately brought about an adverse outcome.
Win rate numbers are of moderate standing with 170 trades that were winning and 154 that were losing. But the average trade loss was significantly greater than the average gain per trading activity. This imbalance is the key reason for the negative profit factor.
Forex Real Profit EA v5.11 Trading Signals
The EA creates signals automatically during its predefined trading session. Note that it does not use a trend filter in the tested configuration, and UseTrendFilter is disabled. It implies that the entries are based on internal short-term market conditions rather than directional bias.
Stop Loss is disabled, so losing trades can expand before closing, which increases exposure. Although this approach may aim to allow temporary price retracements, it also increases risk during strong directional moves.
The backtest confirms that the system experiences sequences of consecutive losses, with up to seven losing trades in a row. Such streaks, combined with 5% risk allocation, can quickly pressure account equity.
Conclusion
Forex Real Profit EA v5.11 is an Expert Advisor night scalping with time-based operations and small fixed take profit targets. The strategy was not profitable in that configuration in the long term. The negative profit factor, declining equity curve, and 20% drawdown highlight structural risk-to-reward trade-off weaknesses.
My impression about that EA is that this probably needs some major optimization, specifically to have a controlled Stop Loss and lower % risk. As set up in the current test it is insufficient for conservative risk management and one is going through some forward testing if considering getting to live deployment.
