Aura Absolute EA MT4
Aura Absolute EA uses a grid-based strategy with consistent backtest growth. Full review, settings, and honest trading insights included.
Description
Aura Absolute EA is a grid-based Expert Advisor designed for MetaTrader 4 intended to earn consistent returns through structured limit order placement. On the surface, looking like many other grid systems, after testing it can be noted that this EA emphasizes controlled growth, not aggressive expansion of accounts.
Now, to be honest — I wasn’t able to properly attach this EA to a live chart, which is something traders should pay attention to already. But I did manage to perform a complete backtest, and the results provide enough insight into how the system behaves.
The balance curve shows smooth, step-by-step growth with relatively small drawdowns. This implies that the EA operates in a controlled environment, but it still carries inherent risks like any grid system.

Features of Aura Absolute EA for MT4
Aura Absolute EA uses a standard grid logic featuring pending limit orders as the basis. It creates multiple entries at fixed distances and arranges positions as a basket.
The EA is based on a coefficient multiplier system through which it has a gradually increasing position size with grid expansion. While this allows the system to recover from unfavorable price movements, it also compounds risk during strong trends.
Another feature that is important is the possibility to choose the type of trading schedule and filter market conditions. News filtering is also included and it was disabled in our tested configuration.
From what I understand, systems of this type rely heavily upon appropriate market conditions. They work best in ranging environments while being challenged by strong directional moves.
Strategy
The strategy relies on making a series of limit orders just above and below the current price. The EA puts together a grid of positions as the market moves and collectively closes them upon a target profit.
Such a practice helps EA make gains from market fluctuations rather than a prediction of trend. The Take Profit is relatively small, so keeping its profit margin small allows the system to hold on to gains fairly regularly.
In the simulation of the backtest, EA yielded a profit of approximately $430 and a drawdown slightly over 3%, making it a strong ratio for a grid-style strategy. The equity curve shows consistent slow and steady growth, without large spikes or crashes.
But remember, grid systems do have that risk cumulative nature over time. Long term trends without pullbacks could cause an overall increase in exposure — as well as potential losses.
Trading Signals
Aura Absolute EA does not use traditional buy/sell signals. Instead, it systematically places pending orders at fixed intervals.
As prices hit these levels, trades get triggered, and positions are managed as part of a larger structure. This means that the EA is always active in the market, responding to price action rather than waiting for signs of confirmation.
Once the overall profit target is achieved, the system will close trades in batches — this creating the classic step-like equity curve as seen in the test results.
Conclusion
Aura Absolute EA is a standard grid system exhibiting a fairly well-regulated behavior with smoothed backtest behavior. It could also attract traders who value stability and automatic management of their positions through steady growth.
But there are a couple of key take homes of this. I couldn’t attach it to a live chart personally, which brings up some concerns for compatibility or protection mechanisms. It does carry risk, however, in trending markets, like any grid strategy.
So if you will roll out this EA, for the most part do so on your own risk. These are not the “set and forget” answers, and these need to be understood and monitored carefully.
That’s why if you want to use Aura Absolute EA for the test itself, you can download a version for testing from our site and check how it works under your circumstances before giving any money up.
