Description
The Exposure Indicator for MetaTrader 5 is a highly customizable tool that simply displays important trading risk information associated with an open position. This information includes the asset being traded, the number of current positions, the type of open orders, lot size, entry price and floating profit.
The traditional MetaTrader platform comes by default with a “terminal” window that contains all the necessary information about open positions. However, the Exposure indicator is an optimized version built using an algorithm that automatically evaluates the “terminal” window and then feeds information about your trading exposure on the chart.
The essence of this indicator is to ensure that all your trading positions on open positions are always visible on the chart screen. This allows you to easily follow all current trades. Thus, the indicator will be a convenient trading tool for beginners, intermediate and advanced forex traders.
How to Use the Exposure Indicator
The image above illustrates the indicator in action on the MT5 dashboard. It shows that there are currently three financial assets (EURUSD, USDJPY and EURJPY) open. In addition, it also shows the respective trading risks of all assets. For example, the USDJPY pair has one open buy position with a total lot size of 0.60 and has a negative profit of 12.91.
Conclusion
The Exposure Indicator for MT5 is not a technical trading tool for market analysis, but one that displays the trading exposure of open positions. Finally, it’s free to download.
